The track was plowed and shaved today. There will be the normal shaving costs Saturday. The track is located directly off 169 in Garrison across from McDonalds. The track plowed off hard and we will not have a drag strip as planned. We will do trophies on the ice after racing. We will start again with hotlaps at 8 am, racing to start by 9:30 am.

I checked the lake yesterday. The access is cleaned out, and ice is good. The access we will use is across from McDonalds on 169. We will keep an eye on it this week. We are planning to plow and shave the track Thursday. I will update at that time. We are going to attempt to make a drag strip to have some fun/grudge races on at the end of the day per request from some members. So if you are interested in that we might radar and grudge race end of the day pending it plows off ok on thursday. We are going to start early again like this week, and do trophies on the ice following racing. I met with Mr Lee yesterday at the Garrison Inn and Suites. He will give discounted rates for the rooms Friday and Saturday night if you mention KPI. He is really excited to see our group coming back:) Lots of members are planning on staying and letting the kids hit the pool and relax Saturday night after the race. Some are staying Friday as well. Historically this is a pretty fun time!!!

The track was plowed and is being shaved right now. We will have a track shaving fee. Please do not park permanatly on the ice until Andy Speltz or Travis Betterman is there. They have a specific plan on parking. There is plenty of ice parking space but you will need direction from them when coming on the lake. The host of our event banquet has a band coming in tommorrow night. Due to this we would like to get racing going asap in the morning to be able to clear out of the bar at a reasonable time. We would like to be starting hotlaps around 8am and racing by 9;30 am. To make this happen please chip in and help set up the track right away in the morning. If you need hotlaps in the morning we will be shutting them down early to get moving. We cannot start hotlaps until the track is ready though. The report is the track looks awesome………….and the weather is going to be awesome!!! Thank you to Mark Engnes and Andy Speltz for setting this race up in this great location. Please be sure to thank them tommorrow. And also Travis Betterman as always for taking time to set the track up. We will see you in the morning.

We are planning on plowing friday and possibly shaving dependent on how the ice looks. Please plan on the ice shave fee, but it might not apply.

The track was plowed and shaved yesterday. We will be parking on the ice. The race will take place in front of Jeds Laker Lounge on Clam Lake. 24787 Clam Lake Dr. Siren Wi 54872. From Clam Lake Dr south take first right in front of Jeds Bar on to the ice. Stay to the right. Are track is on the south end of the car racing track. We will be parking in the pits of the car track. Please try to space vehicles out at least 10 ft. There will be a $15 track shaving fee per racer, or $20 per family. We are good to go up in Siren. Ice was checked yesterday. We have plenty of Ice to park on. We will be plowing and shaving the ice Thursday. I will update you with directions to the track Thursday night along with info for our banquet at The Narrows. Looking forward to a great race Saturday………….

We will be pulling out on to the lake, and we will go around the point to the right to pull into the bay between North and South Center.  Please try to space vehicles out at least 10 ft. We have moved the race from Saturday 1/27/18 to Sunday 1/28/18 in an effort to work with the Center City chamber of commerce for the scheduled events for the weekend. We will be racing Sunday with and along side the radar runs. We will keep the normal race day schedule. I will follow up with ice conditions early next week but I dont foresee a problem parking on the ice or shaving the track. I will update early next week.

Ice was checked today and there is 15 plus inches. We are planning on as of now shaving the ice and parking on the ice. We will update when we plow later this week. There will be a $15 ice shaving fee per racer, it will be $20 per family if you have more than one racer. This can be paid at registration Saturday morning. Race results are also posted for the Columbus race now on our website.
